Moo Mu

Post by DJ »

Hi bad
although I have worked on a few Mu's I have not been to impressed with the ground clearance under the front X member. Very hard to buy off road parts or a winch bumper. But then maybe I might expect too much as a local has one and he trys to go every where in it. he has rolled it going up a very slight rise where he was the last one. A turbo and intercooler from a Isuzu big horn is a major inprovement. ALWAYS check oil leaks from the rear of the tappet cover as the oil seeps down the back of the block on to a water hose that runs across the back to the water cooled oil filter housing. Oil and rubber mix very well and the hose falls to bits lossing water then you get to spend lots of money at the engine reconditioners. Cheers DJ
