Hankook Dynapro ATM
Has anyone used the Hankook Dynapro ATM RF10 or for that matter any of Hankooks all terrain tyres. Howick Firestone has them for $215.00 for 265 70 16 size tyres.

Don't worry about the replies guys I did some other research, apparently they are crap tyres, wear quickly and get noisier as they wear. Will go for something else.

May be worth having a chat to Rob (robo), he is an ORE vendor who sells Tyres and may have some suggestions, He usually has some good monthly deals.

Re: Hankook Dynapro ATM
Some more cash become available at tyre time so decided to go with the Bridgestone Desert Dueler 694 which is about as aggressive a tyre that I need for my type of driving. So far I have only used them on sealed roads and no problems with handling. They are very smooth and very quite. I will post more info when I have tested then on the Coromandel over the coming weeks.

Re: Hankook Dynapro ATM
After having the Dueler 694's on for a couple of months I have come to like them. Initially I was not to rapt in them as the Surf was all over the road with the back end on both wet & dry seal and also on gravel and the ride was as hard as the hobs of hell. After doing my first trip on gravel I pulled over and decided to check tyre pressures and found all were 40 psi which had been inflated by Firestone. I had a feeling that this was a bit too high so dropped tyre pressure back to 38 and a small improvement was noticed straight away so 10km later pulled over and dropped another 2 psi to 36psi, once again another improvement. That night I spoke with friends son who is a tyre dealer and he said even 36 was a bit on the high side and he suggested somewhere between 32 and 34. I now have them at 34psi and they feel good, no more hanging the tail out and good grip on seal and gravel.
