Range Rover spares

I'm thinking about getting an older range Rover, 70's model. Are parts still readily available for the earlier Range Rovers? Are new parts available or is it a case of hoping to find secondhand parts somewhere?

There are lots of wrecked rangies about for spares and if you buy an old rangie find out who is the independent landrover mechanic in your area and deal with them - they have a great informal parts network.
In fact don't buy a rangie until you've had them check it out would be my advice if you are new to Rangies!
You can also buy new parts from places like Forward Specialities in Auckland
