looking for pirate link for bobtail info

as above, can somebody point me in the direction on pirate for the "how to" for bobtailing a hilux. or anyone got some good info on this

Im able enough, just want to have a bitava read up before i get into it, very seriously thinking of doing it shortly as the f/g canopy has to come off shortly for some repairs, so i may just leave it off 8)

Do you want to bob the surf with the canopy or leave it as a ute and bob the tray.?

conans is not bad. had a look at manaros but was nothing specificly detailing the bob chop.
just wana clear up having to chop the rear mount and move it forward etc and how much i can cut out while still being able to use the tailgate, though using the tailgate isnt a neccesity???

Doing this on my 85 surf and used this as a guide

The bob is only 8" which is less than most....

I am not doing a cut and shut job though - panel beater mate of mine gave me some clues and so I am using backing plates and plug welding to keep the sheet metal straight - takes ages but hopefully it will get a better finish.

No worries - really liked how tidy the surf was at the end, but thought the exocage should have been on the outside of the fenders....

go into pirate and serch (chopped 4runner) in the 4 runner section and it will come up with over 100 of them i did mine coping off there its easy as
