been and mesured some 40 series diffs to night and the spring distanses and overall width seem to be the same as rugger so in they will go all i will have to do is put 60 series hubs on and sao it.

heavy down low is good lowers the center of gravity, i thought cruiser diffs but they are bloody expensive and im after the width so thats why im going safari.

depending on price i may be interested in them just to keep me going till i do get a set of safari diffs

yup i am however im in a maintenance role at the moment.
i do have access to a lathe at work but its crap!
i am able to use a workshop with a great lathe however im fairly busy after hours.
what do what done and how long do u estimate itll take? i prob wouldnt charge u for my time but would charge for consumables used at this workshop.

hey
im looking for any rugger driveline spares if anybody has them. did the soa on my rugger, but used the 2 factory flat springs and added a couple of hilux ones in under the rugger1s. maybe 5 inch lift. mine only a mud hack tho. the front drive shaft needs to be lengthened and i didnt do it and poped out after i did a front jump. Now running a hilux front shaft. sounds like your rugger is where i wanta head if my 2.8 craps out.
may rebuild mine into a TOY-HATSU

right it been a long time for an update. stoped workin on it to do stuff on house and other bits and peices.

have now changed chassie to an ln130 surf. long story short there was lots of drive line probs with old set up.

ln130 is all good to go just move some body mounts cut back over hung off and front over hung.
it has 4.8 diffs in it so just need to put lockers in.

have to do some guard chopping and slightly mod fire wall to give clearance on the 33" tires on 10" rims that i picked up.

then drop motor in and it should be all go

well that the plan anyway but as you know nothing ever goes to plan.

will try get some photos when it stops raining
