so I looked at your username at thought, maybe this guy works at firestone

please tell me its not true and you bought wheels that dont fit your wagon

surely you would check first, before fitting tyres to them

I never fitted a tyre to a mag wheel if I wasn't 110% sure that it was gonna fit perfectly

please tell me you do something else for a job and just love the firestone eagle  and cruisers 8)

sure do skid and yes did check first have done this a million times and only an issue on front so thawt nothing of it. at the end of the day dosnt bother me its only money. can always sell them thru work anyway. there is a slight difference of just sitting rim on vehicle and seeing if they clear which did but once nuts tightened and every thing centralised thats when they hit. you want some 35s. i also thawt with your experienc at 4wding you wud have known better and had a snorkel fitted before doing river crossings. but hey mate shit happens ah. :D

If there that close surely some thin spacers would give you enough clearance from the callipers?

are they fouling on the outside face or the top side? cos ive done the grinder trick and fixed both and able to run 15x10" rims on a 96 VX cruiser with no issues at all. not saying its a good thing to do but gets you out of a Jam  and yea im that rough  and that only had clearance issues on the rear to, due to the bigger rear brakes on the 95 onward VX's

Do yo want me to price some for you? I am ordering 33's in the next couple of days, $290 from memory, with 35's not much more, I may be able to squeeze an extra set at a good price outta them.

can I ask firstly, you have an 80 series cruiser right :?: :?:

secondly, why the body lift, tyres should fit easy with a simple 2" suspension lift

yes skid do have an 80. and you are correct tyres do fit with simple 2 inch suspension lift. i have a few options either remove the flairs as when out in the old girl flexing will remove these quickly, or put in 4 inch spring lift n new shocks which mean doing pan ard rods castor correction bushes etc or for $150 do a body lift. as i have shit loads on this year a wedding to attend in nelson a trip to aussie and quite a few trips with local 4wd club the $150 to me is the best option.

cheers jono.
