Northern Suzuki Powow

Post by UBZ »

Just gauging interest in a northern Suzuki gathering.

Seeing as it looks like ZukFest wont be happening in 2011 and the amount of disappointed northern suzuki guys who cant make it down to Refton this year.

So who's keen ,when , where , ideas for a venue , open discussion.

ok so far we have

needs to be a long weekend to make it worth while for those that travel.
but not Labor weekend or Easter. That only leaves Queens birthday.

So shall we tentatively say Queens birthday weekend 2011 June 4th to 6th. :D mud

Central location . taupo / Central North Is

Would be open to all Suzuki 4wd vehicles . (suzuki chassis and firewall / bonnet)

Open to non-road legal trucks , needs to have adequate parking for trailers and tracks accessible without going on public roads.

Venue needs to cater for Shiney , club and tough tracks.

Venue needs camping on site. facilities etc can be brought in.

Would be great to have a ramp / axles twister close to camp .

maybe a possible local safari 1 day for shineys / family's etc.

interested in opinions on numbers of entrants ,costs , possible venues and generally any other suggestions.

You really can't go past the Ngaroma Block for an event like this.

Parking, camping, Central, massive amounts of new tracks, and even more old one's, no cost, no major environmental concerns to get into trouble with, and the king country club would no doubt be pretty enthusiastic about the whole idea as well :D :D

Is awesome in there when its wet

Another more private option may be www.gobush.co.nz , they run Zuk's and have a front block and a rear block with a lodge area and river mouth fishing......

And they run Zuk's there apparantly :D

Go bush is crap.

You have to run their tracks, and there aren't many track options and they don't give you free rain of the place to trash
