Which calipers would be good for fitting on a hilux soild disk. I rang the wreckers about maxima calipers and they wanted $65 ... Each :-@ . So what would work well? I intend on buying 2 sets. 2 for normal braking and 2 for fiddle brakes. And how should I set up the levers? old hilux slaves?

If you are there might be conditions you'll have to meet to double plumb the caliper.... talk to the certifier
If you decide to do the double calipers (I did on the rover after talking to my certifier ) use the clutch master off your lux 
it'll run the single pot caliper good enough.... the booster Jtop is talking about is a good idea, I've been keeping an eye out for some at the right price for the Rover (thanks Jtop

Oh and see if you can talk the wreaker down I paid $40 for the pair on my last disk conversion
another option is the Galant I think they are pretty much the same caliper
