80 series trailing arm

Post by Big »

As title says.. does anyone have a spare front trailing arm for the 80 series? OR can you straighten them? I have one bent and not sure what to do..?
Project build is 80 series rolling chassis..(I have already)
BJ74 cab cut down..(I have already)
New deck made to make up the back end.
Lexus..(I have already) with auto / pto..(I have already) mid mounted
Possibility of a supercharger
bar work etc..
lockaz etc etc..
Just starting now to get bits an peices before I start.

if it bent then you have nothing to lose by attempting a straighten, once straight inspect very carefully for cracking or get it crack tested.

We had a bent Prado arm straightened, but it just bent again in the same place so you're probably better off getting another (unbent) arm.
