28th feb CHCH area trip

Keen to take a mate of mine wheeling this weekend and wondering if anyones keen for a bit of a trip? Not too fussed where, ashley, selwyn, waipara just want to go somewhere for a play and find somewhere to get stuck.

planning on sunday, Sounds like the trips a go, now what river do you guys want to play in, with this weather the ashleys probably going to be the only one with water in it things will be dry as

I'm open to suggestion, I guess the usual ashley and then up the okuku or the waipara? Don't think there will be any mud to play in but still be nice to get out.

Looks like I have a starter motor on the way so depending on if i can get it in on friday night or saturday I hope to make it.

There is talk of me going up to mariua area but with the current state of the truck i'd really have to pull finger so something local could be good.

was in the asley saturday night for a fish, went up the okuku , still abit of water around, ment to get rain before weekend, o and pulled my 1st trout out of there...

went out, couldnt find you guys though, went for a mish and found a guy in a prado (jeremy) who was looking for the group aswell, was a sweet day for it
