A buddy of mine has gone in the past and I think he said it's run by a local community group rather than a 4wd club, but not sure which sorry.

Its run by the Rotary Club of Oamaru. Last year the site was beside the Kakanui River sign posted off SH1 approx 10km south of Oamaru.

Last years convenor was Ralph Burrell - not sure if he is doing it again but you should be able to contact him through RB Motors Oamaru. Search whitepages for ph number.

went down to oamaru for the waitaki mud plug came 4th in modified class was pritty happy with that as was first event
