I'm still without a truck but anyone got anything planned and fancy a winch bitch for the day? Been ages since I've been out and I'm getting the shakes

Showing your age Al - if my Mrs said, that 4wding would be a distant second on the list Image .

I don't really mind mate, f*** it, all of the above sounds good. Never been up Worsley, never been up the Ashley track, went on some great trips with the CR4WD club but mostly have played on the Waimak river bed and up MacLeans Island.
Just keen to get out somewhere to keep me motivated to get the FJ finished. Sunday would suit me, going climbing on Saturday.

Cheers.

if you go up the ashley track you will need a snorkle
group off us went up sun and had some fun plenty of mud and water ended up near the okuko river(spelt wrong) and could not cross it to get out so had to come all the way back
would not advise it without snorkle and plenty of mates to help out in deep ruts and mud

33inch tyres ok 31inch mud tyres may need a little help

I can vouch for that one  but thanks to a great set of lads off here, they helped me every step of the way.

Could be keen for a trip up Worsley track. Haven't done it for a while and not with the Mu. Not a track for Shiney trucks though. Lots of gorse (scratches) and deep ruts. Maybe not great if wet (no lockers in Mu).

I'd be real keen on a trip up Worsley, looks a great track but I'm not taking the new Mu up somewhere that rough. If anyone can offer a passenger seat I'm there.

If anyone else is keen then I'm happy to have a go. If not then maybe make a suggestion to alternative track.

Post by Goose »

Yes!! You must all bow to the force that is the mighty lada!!!!
hahaha
just go's to show that light-weight and pure ignorance can see you through.........
Pity lada's are; uncomfortable, horrid to drive on the road, noisy, die in the water and as slow as a wet week on the coast!!!!

Other than that, they're great!!

I'm still getting a surf.........

Havnt been up there for a while, it must be very rutted by now

every time I go up there I seem to end up putting more dents in the truck!

But who needs a straight mu anyway?

You can consider yourself my winch bitch for the afternoon if you like... damned easy job, since the winch is still sitting on the workshop floor

Ahhh, I see, I did not get that. Too subtle for a Scotsman I'm afraid.

In which case, yes, fantastic that would be awesome. Has anyone actually decided where we're going?

You haven't repeated it enough times yet I think.
