ohk so i checked the oil on my 86 safari and the dip stick didnt hav any marks for hi or low. its only got a bit where it gets slightly narrower for a bit (but looks lyk suposed to be not sumone hacking at it)... my trucks running fine but it seems lyk its low or and dont wana go and #### my truck.. any one no a site for a manual or any one no how long the dip stick is meant to be??? almost looks like its not the rite on..
and yeah i no that went on a bit but i dont realy no wtf im talkin bout...

thanks but the only thing i can find in there about oil is tellin me to change it every 5000k and two people having a long winded argument about wether to use 15/40 or 20/40 oil...

Id drain the sump and measure it check against a workshop manual allowing for the oil filters and then drill a 1.5mm hole in your dipstick

I'd just scan trademe for a wrecker and spend 5$ on the right stick.
