Assuming you're wanting bigger the stock suspension:

What type of driving do you want to do?
What size/type tyre do you wish to run?

I have a set of dobi springs in the front of mine, haven't beaten on them so far but haven't heard too many bad things about them.

Also when it comes to 80 series you need to consider the weight you may carry with a bullbar+winch and also rearbar+spare+storage etc - these are very big trucks and therefore can carry a lot more extra shit you need to account for...

The 80 is my daily so nothing extreme, looking at doing a 2" - 3" lift. I do abit 4WDing but nothing to full on. Once I find some more dosh I will get a bull bar and some sort of rear bar's. Plus I do abit of towing with the car trailer.

As for tyre's just some A/T 31/33" or so. Nothing to big.

Monroe will not last! And if you want good performance you want the shocks to be valved to suit th spring rate. So OME are very very hard to beat and they last extremely well.

And don't listen to the wankers who keep saying they are built in the same factory as monroe so are the same shock with different stickers! That's like saying all food from the same kitchen taste the same!!!!!!!
