They must of istalled it wrong as the switch should be wired so that only the Odo stops ticking over and it never affects the rev counter or speedo eh.

Pulled The Stickers off my Safari, took 6 hrs, a heat gun and a tin of cut and polish. stared to do a body lift, then found there are U shaped brakets welded to the body on the two back mounts how do you get rid of them?
Prior Preperation Prevents Piss Poor Performance. My Solution: Build a Tougher Truck
Finally mounted my trans coil where it was supposed to go 2 years ago!!, pull the winch apart, drilled out the rivets and removed the brush holder, removed the rust on the spacer plate allowing the electrons to flow again, put back together again but added some pressure giving washers on the inside of the motor cover to increase the pressure on the brush plate to the motor put the wires back on and runva it fired back into life. painted the winch craddle black, next is the bars hopefully this week. Also watched district 9, glorious basterds and terminator salvation

Well Saturday, went up to Paraparaumu to get a Evo 4 , and towed it down to work, so it is in the shop now and now to change the rear diff ( mondays job ) ..... and today , went into rallywoods ( passed Jafa on the way in ) but i went up to help Bundy his clutch in his cruiser , so at the same time we pulled the 5 speed out and put a 4 speed in , and now have most of it back togeather , just got to add a spacer to the rear driveshaft and bolt it in , and adjust the clutch , and then it is play time

You can get things called caramel wheels/signwriting removers that go on a drill, rips the stickers off without touching the paint, then use prepsol, wax & grease remover, petrol to take off the sticky shit.
