Headed round to red rocks for the first time last night cos I finished work at 4pm (early for me). Pretty nice night for a drive. Had a bit of a play on the little hill climbs then found a couple of guys in a standard terrano with a flat tyre no tools an a padlocked spare
Luckily for them I had plenty of tools in my 40. Got the tyre changed an offered to sell them my spare 31"s if the cut in the sidewall wasnt repairable  Will wait an see if I hear from them

Painted surf bars black thursday night with the help of suzuki1k, finished them last night + did the wheels. Put it all back together this morning, winch in,wired, all painted and ready to go.
Will put the new flares on tomorrow.

cleaned the garage out and tacked the seats in place in the LR. Very comfortable but way less visibility than it used to have :? at least turoa will be happy

will finish the shock mounts and get the shocks all bolted in after the flares on the surf in the morning.

Well not exactly 4 wheeling....but I used the 4wd tractor to drag logs up a rather steep bank so that they could be chopped for firewood. I used the 130 as a pivot point with a pulley block & a 30m winch wire rope. Worked a treat but I'm knackered........

Squeezed some gear in the Zook and went bush for the weekend.

Went bush crashing with a GPS and very old map and found some cool stuff. Also didn't find some stuff but spent a full day bush crashing looking for it   Rematch with better info

Change the rear diff, transfer box, gearbox and front diff oils today in the Paj and removed the towbar ready to fit my new tow hook mount. Also had a fiddle with the Evo and went for a little tiki tour.

The Land Rover decided it didn't like having some of its electrics fixed, so it broke something else. Tried to close it up a bit with the jack but its hardly problem solved

130 not 110 ;)

More length and weight.

Looks like it would have been fun but.
