Yeah Im pretty sure I seen you guys parked up.

Just after that we came back thru a section that was really boggy and rutted (probly from you guys lol) and anyway was powering thru it until the front skid plate jammed on a tree stump under the mud and my AT's just sat there spinning in the soup.

So after digging for an hour and numerous attempts to get it out I had to call my mate who came out from town and pulled me out with his surf , and had a good laugh too.

Had a great day out. A little longer than planned but good to put some faces to names. Looking forward to the next trip. My first trip on my new Simexs. Highly recommended to anyone looking for some serious traction. (Under $400 each from Tonys Tyre Service- Jungle Trekker 2's)

Good point. Paid an extra $10 per tyre and they guarantee the tyre for the life of the tread. eg If you damage the side walls and they can't fix it then they will replace the tyre with a brand new one. Not bad when you consider what we do to them eh.

They make that guarantee even for off-road use? Or do you need to think up some feasible alternative reason for the 2 foot log jammed through the sidewall?

That was my question to them too. They assured me that no matter what punishment that I give them that the guarantee stands. Remains to be tested I guess. Give it time. To their credit, they spent a significant amount of time sourcing the tyres at the right price and also a fair bit of time getting them fitted up.

They will replace it no questios asked 8) I gave them every possible scenario about a damaged tyre including the wife slashing them to keep me from 4wdriving and they said they will replace them
