KZN185 surf

hi all had the timing belt replaced 10k ago and the clock has just ticked over the 200k and the little timing light has just come on
how do i switch the ligth off??

apart from using a little bit of tape over the light position on the dash :lol: :lol:

the earlier hilux's have a button which can be accessed on the cluster by pulling a small rubber bung out which is about the same location as the odometer reset but off to the left. if that makes any sense :roll: .

cheers I justed looked and unfortunately there is no little bung thingy on the dash at all :(

keen for other susgestions tho :D

If its not a digital dash, you'll need to pull dash gauge cluster out and swap screw over to reset the light.

Pull the bulb out?
1996 3.4V6 Surf that was suppose to stay stock
2013 6.4 litre HEMI V8 Chrysler 300

Its a 10min job.
And to pull the bulb you'll have to take out the cluster anyway.
