See it just sounds like all your wanting to do is pedal your goods, hence peoples apprehension towards putting up their designs/ideas. This forum is about like minded individuals sharing ideas and problems to help each other, not to make a profit from them. You could try POSTING pics and then asking opinions etc etc rather than just saying stick your pics up.

What the fk do we have to be jealous of here? Doug is right.

1/3rd of your posts are trying to peddal your own shit. Another 1/3rd are calling us dirty names. The final 1/3rd are not worth the brain trauma trying to understand due to poor spelling, punctuation and sentance construction.

And you should open your eyes and be more careful as to who you talk shit about- Darin in particular has been there and done the whole turbo diesel thing and now has engines that you could only dream of owning.

On a more constructive note- have you ever tried LPG injection? You can get huge gains with your turbo diesel motors using this method.

A note to our most elequent of contributers.

I've been here for quite a long time (since 2002) and although I do spend a lot of time here it is because the knowledge to be gained (and given out) is invaluable.

If you came here looking for advice then as has been said before, put up a design and ask for input. Of course you must expect to get some negative feedback too if you design warrants it.

Expect also to get good constructive feedback too that will potentially improve the product you are making (and potentially able to sell on to others here).

If you are merely here to peddle your wares and "borrow" ideas from others then thats another story. We have hard working trades people and vendors here who run businesses selling to others on this forum and part of the price of doing business is that you have to pay a little extra for that privilege. If you are trying for a free lunch then you are stepping on the toes of those here.

If you are afraid that your ideas are going to be stolen or copied, then welcome to the real world. Unfortunately people will copy other ideas and make them their own and lets face it the world of turbo manifolds although specialised is very small if you are dealing with only a few parameters and you are likely to have lots of people who have done it before or are doing it now.

Imitation is the best form of flattery, apparently. Yes it sucks when your ideas are used by others, but if they cant afford to buy them from you they were never a potential customer anyway.

These personal attacks are rediculous. Calling everyone homo's is both childish and pathetic. You ask for opinions and then when they arent what you want you retaliate with a verbal onslaught of trash talk. If you are going to operate a business I suggest you take some harden up pills, learn to take criticism on the chin and if it's valid learn from it. Oh and on a more professional level maybe sort out your written communication (Dont take this the wrong way -I'm not perfect and spend lots of time with spell checks, etc as I am dislexic) so that customers feel they are dealing with a professional.

I have a mate with a 4.2 diesel patrol and he was very interested in a manifold from you (just wanted more details / pics) but after your tirade here he has decided to get it made closer to home and pay a little more.

I have a last piece of advice for you.

Opinons are like arseholes; everyone has one and they some times stink!

Now, why dont you do us a favour and leave this forum to those who use it for what it is, a valuable trove of information and also friendships. Of course if you are willing to participate in the manner that is expected and contribute with meaningful threads then by all means stay.

MY NUMBER IS 09 441 (PM me for the rest, after all this is an open forum and I dont want crank calls).

Feel free to give me a call. I'm not hiding behind a computer, its the only way to comunicate on here as I am not in the same room or island as you are. Hell, I'll give you my street address if that makes you feel better too.

I wish you all the best with your endeavours in the future, but I for one will not be contributing at all in any way to any thread you post or ask questions on. Sorry, but I dont know you and have no interest in you or your ideas from now on and maybe just maybe I would have had an answer to some question you need answering. :!:

C'mon guys, you're being a little harsh on the poor bloke. He's just a mis-understood "engineer", trying to get a few ideas about turbo set-ups, purely for "interests" sake of course!

The fact that he's on another forum asking about rifle supressors should not bother you in the slightest, as it is purely a coincidence!

Actually, you flippin crack head, there are two possible scenario's here. Scenario A is that you are a real nice guy and just want to help people. Scenario B is that you want to rip off other peoples designs.

I'm going to go with option B because of your most recent comment

Because as of yet i've not seen you help with shit- only ask for other peoples help and measurements.

reading through this i agree with crazy-man i think he sholud recall then an fix or replace them, orr just tell everyone he sold old modle to just to drill holes it end to stop pressure build up

i like crazy-man have an do make suppressors for me an my mates, being a engineer we like to play, done all testing myself had few expand a fair bit till i got it sorted as well an now are sweet have tryed tem on few magnums etc

i drew it it on solid works in computer soft wear worked out what force it was going to take to sumulate a shoot beening fired an run it 10000 times an was sweet now, but if someone can give me a drawing of dans cans what all he has in them? the grade he uses? all the details etc i can do same thing to it????

just for interest???? if interested.....

simple terms (im half dislecic) give me all dans specs/tech drawing of his cans, an ill draw it an run to on computer program at work an tell you whan its going to blow up? if it does? make sense?

So c'mon guys, cut him a little slack

did you not read that thead?

was trying to help people you just beenig a fool mate thats jelus about something cause you cant help with nothing, an has nothing to do with this!!!!!!!!!!!!

Actually, you flippin crack head, there are two possible scenario's here. Scenario A is that you are a real nice guy and just want to help people. Scenario B is that you want to rip off other peoples designs.

I'm going to go with option B because of your most recent comment

Because as of yet i've not seen you help with shit- only ask for other peoples help and measurements.

was purley to draw it an run it in program of computer you dumb shit( i you owned one of the old cans wouldnt you like to know only have to tell me what caliber it was on an i COULD ave drawn it an run it in program), i have my own ideas etc an i dont need or want anyone else's ideas to rip off ( have ran my suppressor 15000time on it an only make them for mates have no intensiton on making an selling then as heaps of peolpe do on not interested to do so, just hunting is a interest of mine), youjust other cabage that knows nothing of what i was getting at, when have i ever asked for measurements to anything else?

the fact that your are a plain ####### retard is beyond me how stupid you really are mate get the facts straight before you start blurting again!!

OK you are asking for Dans tech drawings/measurements and anything you can get on his (i assume) PRODUCT.

What kinda manufactuer would give out that kinda info and what kinda self respecting owner would do the guy the injustice of giving all the info to you.

Can i please have all the measurements/port sizes/pipe dimensions jigs, tech drawings/flange templates and lots and lots of pics of your manifolds please so that i can run them through my computer program 1500 times to see if it will flow equally accross all the runners and to see if they will explode.

What he's saying is we are all getting sick of this thread which no longer seems to have any useful purpose other than for posters to abuse each other.

Suggest it gets canned.
