chch shiney mud play 2

With all this rain it should be nice and slippery again along the waimak. Who's up for a shiney play again this sunday in the mud. Should be a bit of fun and before the tracks start to dry out for summer. Once summer hits those tracks dry out completely :cry:

Will be meeting a mate and his surf down at the boat ramp at 10:00am again. Feel free to come along and have abit of fun

I wont be able to make it this time mike,
but good luck some of those water holes we came across last week will be pretty deep if my back yard is anything to go by tonite.

Wern't really waterholes as such more like little lakes. Worse thing is that we were driving tracks that havnt been on before and hence the depth of them was a mystery

Found some quite good tracks, also found a ranger and had a bit of yarn about people ripping the grass areas up and cars being dumped. There was talk of fencing it off soon which will cut alot of the tracks off I imagine :cry:

I'm guessing that if they fence it off then mysterious "holes" will follow closely...

The Waimak is not the only place in Chch to 4wd, but it is the most popular... they have slowly whittled it down to that one area, and fences will go down like lead balloons I think.

*sigh* as usual a few idiots will end up spoiling it for us all... :roll:
