I had a bit of time to fill in this arvo so went for a we drive up Worsley. I went about 1/4 of the way up (the easy bit I guess) and didn't even use 4wd. A bit of mud around but looks ok at the mo.

What about meeting at say back of belfast pub at say midday? Cause everyone knows where it is and theres heaps of room round back, thats if we're allowed to

Otherwise the boat ramp sounds good.

Cheers,
DAN

To all who are unsure of details for Sunday arvo trip. I think Al has taken on the responsibility of making the decision as to where we are going tomorrow. Worsley (Dry) or Waimak Sth (wet). Keep an eye on the site early Sunday Morn. 8) 8) 8)

Hey, it looks like I might have conned the L200 off the missus.... the only problem being it's got road tyres on the front..... :(

Has anyone got a couple of 30" mud/m+s I could borrow for the day?
I wont be going too hard, it's the missus' truck after all, but I'd like to see what it'll do as it is, got reasonable clearence for a d/c, and manual hubs too :D

Not wanting to hijack this trip but as i said earlier there are too many trucks going up Worsleys for me. So for anyone else thats keen i am doing waimak. Will be at belfast pub carpark between 11.30-12. Can make a decision then as to which side to go to.

Saw one pull up just as I was heading home to keep the peace - what (if anything) was their problem - group kept to Southside tracks and the only foray to riverbed was to replenish a couple of radiators.

they had no problem at all... dno't go all anti-dissestablishmentarianistic on us again Kev

Actually a couple of very nice Ecan officers - had a good talk to them, and pending a discussion with Mike I'll say more.

General upshot was they just came over to see if we were aware of the new management plan for the area and let us know the spot we were in would be 'nesting birds only' from next month through to December.

Actually Steve, antidissestablishmentarianistic Image is correctly spelt antidisestablishmentarianistic (I'll do the verbosity; thank you), and you will note that my comments record "if anything "Image.
