Steel Rims For Disco

Post by DCPTN »

Hey guys
Looking into getting some defender steel rims for my 96 disco.
Found these on trade me just want to confirm they going to fit before I ship them down.

Any help appreciated.

Cheers

Yes they'll fit but they are very narrow rims & will limit what tyres will fit. The steel disco wheels come up often enough for a reasonable price & are 6.5 wide (I think) or the other option is the old style Range Rover Rostyle steel wheels.

Depends on what you what the rims for.
They are only 5.5 wide where the discovery rim is 7.0 inches and therefore better off set.
The Defender 5.5 steel rim could reduce your steering lock and certainly will limit the size of tyre that can be fitted.

If you require the rims for a second set of tyres for off-road then I suggest a set of Discovery steel rims or even another set of alloys.
