Hi mate at this stage we have only 6 paid entrys ,but in saying that the winch challenge competitors would have to be the worst for leaving things till the last moment .If every one who said they were entering do we should end up with 15 trucks racing for over $7000 in prizes ..Steve

That recession must be biting real hard.
We have 2 entrants for the superwinch.

Maybe we should have set up a 10 km loop track and let them drive around it for 2 days. Winching optional? Passing encouraged!!!

Would that get the numbers in?

With only 7 entries looks like we could get through the stages quick, guess I'll have to dig out an extra chilli bin for a few more liquid refreshments

I just heard that a particular Landrover team are too scared to camp next to our team as apparently we stay up all night

Now I take objection to that as we always have at least 3 hours sleep!

So I guess you have a choice, come and join in, stay away or take the appropriate cup of cement and harden the F..k up!

See you all Friday!!!!!!!!!!!

Get the feeling tradition is going to dictate that we don't go to bed before about 3 am, though we will be trying to break the curse of Darin and Nor West.

Truck ready (final shake down yesterday) spares packed, and most importantly chilli bin is ready and waiting for a few green bottles.. Oh yeah coey has been running, and eating plenty of weatbix

Weve been pretty good to you guys this year ,the first 4 or 5 stages are easy ones ,then once we have built up your confidence you have some that will really test the truck and crew   Hmm that reminds me i must go and stirr up the bogs on Thursday as there looking at getting close to being driveable :) "bloody weather we need rain" any marshals up the park on Thursday are more than welcome to try some of the stages also ..Steve

so does that mean im allowed to try and drive the tracks in 2 wheel drive? paying much attention to the easy parts, making them harder which excess wheel spin, and bring the water truck up to fill the bogs full of water? Im sure i can get a few other guys up there over the nest few days, all in 2wd of course, making as much noise and mess as possible? Are you still putting that big ditch in this year? the one that the drivers cant see as they are racing along a high speed steve? the one that ripped some front diffs out last year :P

If you are all turning up early, make sure you leave space for us! We won't be there until Friday morning.

Don't foget we will have full workshop including welder etc so as long you we have a good site we will share with those that save it for us! We might even be able to swap a hot shower for the service as well. 8)
