You will love the truck just make sure you don't get them too hot, also if you can a larger exhaust fron the turbo back helps get the heat away from them.

The only real mechanical issue with these is they can crack heads if they get too hot and are not looked after, they are a real good truck.

for equivelent of $60 hmm was that a good scotch then?

Not quite! Was going to pay $200 for it, I still got to pay the back rego, but swapped a repair on a fibreglass stockcar body for it, (that I initially damaged in the first place!!!!!), a bottle of resin, hardener some offcuts of cloth, and a couple of days sanding, sweeeet as.....

Took the Hilux in for a wof today....remember I paid $60 for it..... failed on a loose right hand hub nut and both top ball joints......ripper.....fixed in about 40 minutes......took back now got a Hilux thats got a wof, up to date rego, and threw another 1000ks at it for good measure. Checked all the turbo pipes, leaks at every join, nipped em up.... chucked a homemade boost tap at it and a boost gauge, got it set at 13psi, going very good. Will go for a good strop out to the beach tomorrow and see how she goes.

Regarding the club Dr_PC do they allow casual membership? With being a shiftworker I cant always do stuff for fundraising etc. I just wanna come along for a tutu every so often, and dont really want to get too serious
as this old rot box is my get to work wagon as well.
