Finished cleaning the truck after a few trips...
Wife happy to get it off the front lawn.
Then once dry, park it up and pull out the factory dump pipe and make a bigger one...

As I said earlier, pull out factory dump pipe. Yeah right...!!!

Removed front pipe ok... Few bolts seized, bit of biffo and they came loose.
Image
Three bolts on the flange all stuck fast and corroded away.
Split those nuts
Image
Now for the dump pipe on the turbo..
Had it all apart about 5 years ago... Bit tight but do-able.
Got them all bar one :(
And the nut is stuffed...All corroded away.
Image
So its Exhasut manifold off and turbo out.

More stuck nuts....
Image
Finally finished..

Now I can get back to what I was wanting to do.

Copper coat...

Yeah I did that last time..Heaps of it....
Works good on cold bolts.
But I think it gets too hot for copper coat so have some new stuff.. Nickel based.. Worked fine on the pyro fitting.

See what happens..
