hey guys,
bought myself another tow hook for my LN61 hilux, but have a problem, theres nowhere at the rear of the truck to mount it to,
has anybody else come across this problem? and how did you get around it?

Theres a guy on Trademe selling hook brackets that you may be able to use? I've always had cruisers so I don't know much about how hiluxs mount their hooks?

love these things.. really clean and solid way to mount onto a rear bar/chassis rail.. gonna get one for my truck.. great item.. possibly a bit pricey but definitely the go....

as h2o just posted prior, the rear bar from my chassis is gone and will be replaced with a very substantial item! this'll give the tow hook a challenge, thinking about 5mm maybe a bit more, with a bit of angular bracing to.. decided on this as the standard bar, as you stated jtop,was cracked and horseshit...
go the mods!

as for the thread, will put one on when the time comes...
