how to turbo 2L engine

hi there im new to the forum. i have a question regarding turbo charging non turbo 2L hilux engine. can it be done by simply bolting on ct20 turbo unit, manifold, crossover pipes etc from a surf or is there more to it than that? any help would be appreciated, cheers boyd

i think it depends on which 2L you have. theres 2L(1) and 2L(2), the turbo gears easly fits the 2L(2). i don't think its fits the 2L(1) as the head is different (has roller cam).

theres a fair few posts around on it which should give exact instructions.
