Hi from Cheshire, England !

Post by HLXCRS »

Hello to everyone on here, have just registered. My name is Chris and I am from Cheshire, England. I am on my third Hilux at the moment, it is a '96 4x4 single cab with Lexus V8, these are very rare over here. In the past I have had 2 Patrols, the second one was a GR with the 4.2 n/a.
Anyway will be calling back soon.
Cheers Chris. :D

I hear it's pretty hard to use a 4x4 as it's maker intended it to be used in England these days, are there many tracks and places to go?

Hi thanks for welcome ! Yea it is hard to find somewhere to go offroading over here without upsetting the authorities. There are plenty of green lanes about but quite often they are also used by the horsey people so you have to watch out. There are plenty of offroad centres dotted around the country which are mainly dissused quarries, the nearest one to me is in a place called Mouldsworth and is called Hill and Ditch.

Here is a link thing ( I hope ) http://www.hillnditch4x4.co.uk
There are a few videos on youtube.
There is a big landrover/rangerover following over here more so than any other make and these vehicles are the cheapest to modify/get bits for.

Cheers Chris.

Yea future mods to include turbo/supercharging with aftermarket ecu ( maybe in about five years of saving LOL ) OME front and rear springs with shocks to suit, winch bar and a nice paint job.
That will do for now.
Cheers Chris.
