Bit of an update. Add snorkel, lift, bigger feet (nearly bald) and flares.

When safe to do so, pop the hood and let the engine cool for at least 20 minutes. Overheating at highway speeds tends to signify problems with the vehicle's cooling system. If there are no obvious signs of trouble (broken hoses or belts) slowly drive the vehicle to a service center.

Time to show off the girl.

Image

Shes sporting 35 in KL71's. 3 inch lift. Warn XD9000i with ComeUp motor.
Snorkel, 4.88 diffs. Retro fitted Toyota E locker in the rear.
Custom bars all around.
Not shown in photo, but front gaurds trimmed back to swing the 35's without rubbing.
Plus heaps of other tweaks.

Cheers

Looks like you need some taller or heavier duty front springs. I guess this is the result of the wench err winch?

What brand of spring and how do you find big articulation running 35's and the 3 in?

Photo doesnt help as it slopes down into my garage.
Also no gear in the rear..hehehe
Had the lift for a few years with 33's...
Feels good... Front has drooped a bit from original fit.
Heavy front doesnt help.
Springs custom made in Chc Chamberlains.
Rear are OME 80 series front coils.

Only been running the 35's a month or so... Trimmed gaurds back to stop rubbing under all articulation.... No sway bar.
Found it would foul when dropping down from steep banks when full weight of truck on front end.
Still a work in progress...

Time will tell.

What suspension do you have? Much rubbage?

NZ NEW are apparently 1" higher then JDM 80 series, I've compared springs from mine and they are definately bigger.

Just standard but its nz new so a little higher than jap ones. Load it up with 5 people and it scrubs onroad aswell. I wonder what its like with 8 in there

But the flares have gone from a nasty grumble to a nice little rub so its they are bedding in
