24-25 April

Post by curly12 »

Well bugger me, got a new windscreen in the pos yesterday, farken scary ride now. Can actual see where I am going.
Clean and unblemished, better vision than when Turoa tipped my hilux over and destroyed the windows. At least this one won't fill up with water when it rains
Did fail a warrant thou, three patches the size of a ten cent peice of surface rust on one of the pillars. Five minutes later with a bit of sandpaper and a spray can and it passes :? :?

Laid up for the night at Glyyne Wye Station then got trailored back to chch.
Will get it looked at on Monday or Tuesday to see how bad it is.

2) don't speak korean

Subway

Went for a blat at the end of season fun trial today.

Who would have thought it would have been so wet in there.

Truck went really well until it decided it didn't want to stay on the hill and we rolled 4 times down of it. Roll cage bent and snapped of the mount for the rear shock so nothing to major. Back starting to get really stiff so time for some alcoholic medicene.

Was some cool courses and thanks to the wangers club for a good day out.

Now time to save over the off season for some rubber and also get the locker working.

Cheers Matt and all. Good day. We left those young guys in the smurf to walk out after driving it into a water
hole and drowning engine. I pulled them out of the bog to find the battery was flat. It was like that before
they left. They asked us to remove one of our batteries to jump start them, I said no, not prepared to risk one
of our trucks to help them, after all it was "self caused", no recovery gear, no farkin' idea!!

Great pics.

Cheers.
