As title says.. my beloved BJ70 with my lexus is going to be chopped up..
what I'm keeping is,
Doors
All front panels including lights etc
Winch and pto unit,shafts etc
Lex engine (rear sumpa running original ecu) and box(Has the castlemain Rod shop kit..(May sell with truck if $$$$ are good enough)
Whats there for sale..
Cab and everything in it'.. dash etc..
Running gear except for box, drive shafts an engine currently has OME 2"kit and is bloody awesome..
Basicly this is a great start for someone wanting to put a lexus inot a 70.. mine already has cert and rego ran out last friday and has currrent warrant.
Would suit someone who has a 70 already as a donor truck for all the bits that will be needed to get it back on the road.
Reason i'm chopping it up as it's not worth anything as a whole truck(unless i'm wrong??? anyone want to make an offer for it) and seeing as I need 70 parts for my new truck I'll just take them off my one..(currently building a winch truck on a 80 series rolling chassis, it has a 73-74 cut down with no front and doors)
and I want to keep my engine as it's a rear sump lexus which are rare.. and maybe supercharger it later on..
Here is some random vids of it goin..

Re: BJ70 with cert'd lexus
Well I guess there are no takers eh..
!!! this is what I was saying.. I'm not giving it away and everyone expects to get a bargain
.. and yes I know that there are loss's when building up a truck.. but the main thing that people really miss is the love man hours put into them.. shit i'd have spent over 300-400 hours trouble shooting, building, getting it just right and at what cost..? nothing.. equate that to dollars and it's a fk load..actually it would be about 12k just on labour and a very respectable $40 an hour
.. and we all know NO garage charges that.. so consider this.. 12k in parts,, 12k in labour..$24k
for a 70.. !!! yea right.. must be a tui add..LOL
