Hi all
I am looking at redoing my exhaust on my landcruiser 74. It's running a 13b-t 3400cc turbo
I just like to know is 2.5" ok or will it pay to go to 3".
exhaust 2.5" or 3"

Re: exhaust 2.5" or 3"
when I did mine, we went 2.5 from the flexi to one straight thru muffler in the rear
worked a treat, noticable increase in power etc etc
not too noisy either

ditto to skids post..
running a turbo on the old 3.4 and the 2.5 inch is ample for flow and quiet too... only got a straight through muffler, coby styles, and its short.. ie runs from turbo to back of drivers door..
actually, its like this...

Re: exhaust 2.5" or 3"
Ive got a 70 series with a 14bt and 3" pipe from the turbo out with a coby muffler and to be honest its a bit noisey under full load, and i doubt there would be much difference in performace between 2.5 & 3", so if i did it again i would stick to 2.5".
