In my landcruiser 74, the front leaf springs are badly sagged – only 30mm of travel on one side. So I am going to replace them with a 50MM lift.
Somebody once said to go for EFS springs as they don’t sag like some others can, but I’ve also had a quote for some Maxi Tracks which were about $150 cheaper.
So, would just like to know how anyone else has found either brand. Does it pay spend the extra for the EFS springs? Or is there another brand I should look at?

Dont waste your your time with maxi tracks there crap and some of there springs have different sets between sides so one side will sit higher than the other, i would look through these threads because ''big'' is selling a complete 2" lift kit for a 70 series which is Old man emu springs shocks and shackles and hes wants alot less than you could buy new.
Toyota Landcruiser FJ40, front and rear lockers, 35" simex.
Toyota FJ45 build in progress.
Tires are like boobs, they always look big until you have played with them for a while, then you just want a bigger set.

Hiya,I have a mwb cruiser with pto and bullbar,I went for the heavyest set of efs springs in the front about a year ago and found them a little stiff but that is because the weight up front, they are now settling down and are taking a pounding, awesome,This brand was recommend buy some winch truck guys who have been using this brand for years.Like your self I had no idea of springs,so I asked around.Would go efs again.Cheers.

I put a set of OME malaysian made dakka springs in my truck about 6 years ago and they are still sitting high. They are the heavy duty ones which are stiffer but its a big heavy truck and as ski says theres a lot of extra weight if you've got a winch bar and winch hanging off the front. My truck has a harsh hard ride but your never going to get a good ride on leaves but its got enough weight to flex as good as leaves can when it has to. I think I paid $220 plus gst a side from g guy's? Its also worth doing greasable shackles and pins to keep everything lubed up and moving nicely while your at it

theres no engine or bar on my truck at the moment but it still hasnt sagged out ofter 6+ years

Hi
Put anti-inversion shackles on as well. Saves a bent spring a week after installing.
I have put ARB on and not sagged in 5 years..
