Heres the problem:
Basically 1 to 3 gears seem fine currently, 4 unlocked seems fine, but going in to 4th lockup it shudders, and takes some massaging of the accelerator to get it to change cleanly, once it has full changed into lockup it drives fine.
The mildly cunning plan:
The plan is to disconnect the lockup, as this is an offroad truck, not worth toooo much, doesnt tow, and im quite happy driving at 85 kph on the road.
Ideally if there are some wires i can cut to increase the lockup pressure on the clutch to get rid of the shudder that would be ideal, but otherwise I would like some information on how to either stop lockup, or add a manual switch (wish will rarely be used)

This is intended to be a temperay fix until I have sourced a cheap replacement transmission, so if any one has done a manual conversion and has a good working auto lying around...IM KEEN
