As the title says, I am a 4wd newbie from Wellington.
Done a small amount of offroad stuff during my uni years working for the regional council. All in the beast of a Diahatsu Feroza. Managed to get it into (and out of) some places that I never thought it would.
Recently purchased a 98 Rodeo as my daily driver. Has a ARB bullbar, 9500lb winch. Seems as though someone before me was keen on upping its potential.
Interesting in getting into this 4wd madness, all for a bit of fun. Took the Rodeo over red rocks on Saturday - had a blast as was happy with the way it all went.
Would be keen for a Experienced Wellington forum member to have a look over my ute and see what they think/ what needs to be done.

I had a look under the bar over the weekend, and it has a towq hook bolted to the bar on both sides. Didnt see is they were high tensile bolts or not.
