Auto hub question

I have just fitted auto hubs to my pajero, But I'm not sure if what I have done is right.

When I took off the manual hub cover, Removed the cir-clip but then there where 2 dome head screws that would not allow the auto hubs to be fitted, Not sure what the screws were holding but I removed them anyway so the auto hub would slide all the way on

Every thing appeared to be ok but it feels odd not puting the cir-clips back on.

What if anything have I done wrong???

Why would you replace manual hubs with dodgy auto hubs?

The auto hubs use a flathead countersunk screw in place of the dome head they hold your wheel bearing lock ring in place

Thanks , I thought that was the case, I have only done a few k's so I'll get the countersunk screws before I go too far
