NO Seriously without the help from the above, i'd still have an engine on blocks and i'd be struggling today getting the old one out today in the rain...

make sure you check the engine mounts

I never got them fully tight before I left as there was other work still going on

etc etc
80 Series on 35" creepies, manual with twin factory lockers.

Is anyone any good at making brackets? Previous motor had ALT on one side and P/S on the other, I need the P/S bracket shortening by about an inch and re-welding as the belt rubs on the thermostat housing :roll: :roll: and some kind of bracket to mount the alt..

Today: put the floor plates back in
Re-mounted the Radiator re-connected some of the hoses.
Checked the engine mounts :wink:
Fitted and removed the P/S pump.. belt rubbing on Thermo housing :(
