WELLY, South Coast run to Cable Bay & BBQ - 15 May

righto then, been a few impromptu runs around the south coast lately, so I thought I'd put up notice a bit earlier this time

Time is not negotiable on this one as we are tide dependent.

Meet at the beach just past the carpark anytime after 9.30am for a 10am departure.

As we will be going across Cave Bay, can you please make sure you have some sort of tow point at both ends of your vehicle, I don't care if its a towing eye or similar, but there has to be something to tow off, coz even the most experienced have been known to get stuck in Cave Bay, thanks.


Thought it would be nice to go further than we usually do so I checked the tides and low is at 11.43 so we'll be good to go for a BBQ at Cable Bay or somewhere sheltered if the wind is up and still get back across Cave Bay whilst the tide is coming in.

BYO fishing rods if ya feel you're clever enough to catch a feed for lunch, otherwise bring something to cook on etc etc

I would like to come along for this in the rover. Could be a good shake down test for it. Just need a few things to complete.
