I originally gave you $500 - $400 for the wrx seats and $100 for indicators/break lights. You refunded me $400 for the seats and were going to send me the lights as soon as you had finished with them. So if they are gone will you send me $100.

argh have been off the net again for a few weeks due to my flatmate ticking up a 700$ phone bill

But heres where the truck is atm.

Bonnet pins fitted and bonnet all aligned and nice. Picked up tray from vvega and cut the crap outa it to make it shorter etc. centre section directly over the chassis will be dropped down 9" into a lower bin.

bla bla pics.

Usually end up drinking and getting no work done...

rear of cf bonnet started sagging as its a straight edge with no rudges/folds etc. So have it overlapping the body pannel at the back by 5mm. Works great etc.

sorry meatc

Have been plodding along very very slowly with the truck. Am finally back in the game with added enthusiasm, time and money :)

Remembered that I had credit at 4wdbits!!! so got an extreme EFS steering dampener and a pair of manual front hubs.

The hubs appear to be an exact copy of the factory manual hubs however they come without the spacer (see other thread ATM about this spacer) which is a bit confusing.

Have ordered a superior engineering flex arm from 4wdbits too (i love that store)

Have milled up a switch / warning light panel for my dash out of aluminum treadplate.

Cut up a roof centre console pannel thing out of fibreglass board

removed entire loom and am doing from scratch as far easier than expected- eg just one solenoid needs to be powered to keep the diesel going once its started!

started preparing the CF bonnet for paint- open weave had to be sealed off.

2 small patches of rust in the cab repaired and painted.

black plastic grille trim pieces behind doors color coded white 8)

front bumper has had end caps welded on (tread plate) and a piece of heavy box section welded into the center to accept hayman reese *spelling* type inserts: pintle/tow hitches, etc etc etc.

rear deck has been shortened.

engine stripped ready for cool stuff.

bla bla bla

will add pics very soon

Everytime I've fitted a deck I have run a string line along the body lines and then measured from that for the deck to make sure the lines flow. I know it is a small point but it can make a huge difference to finish of the project.

hahahahaha.

Just didn't want the switches bolted down to the tread surface. Was going to just cut around each switch hole but got lazy so did whole thing.

close enough is good enough on stuff like that
