vitara 3-door brakes upgrade to 5-door

when upgrading a 3 door vitara's front brakes to the 5 doors does anyone know weather you need to take the 5-doors calipers aswell? or just the brake discs and use the 3-door calipers?

pretty sure you need the calipers too (disks are wider from memory).

Check your wheels will fit on the donor first if possible as you may have to go up to 16 inch rims.

Yeah, I have a V6 5-door and the 15" steelies won't fit over the calipers on the V6.

The J20 2.0L 4cyl and H20A V6 (both 3Dr and 5Dr variants) should have the same larger front brakes, but I don't think the 1600 5Dr had the same brake upgrade.
