seems to work well too.

I can understand your envy, you being a Nissan owner, and that highly techo things like rear window demisters excite awe and wonder in your tiny wee mind, but we owners of more modern vehicles take these things in our stride.

"Who called the cook a bastard?"

"Who called the bastard a COOK?"

At least this hasn't happened to Nissan.... <-- click it!

Truly and verily thou speakest the truth.
original topic was WHAT did Greenhorne neeed to go to RW.

A strong stomach.
Friends, cos he wont find any up there.
Wont need a cook now that Nigel is in Wellsford, unless Jerry cooks.
sooner or later, he WILL need a new truck.
rated tow hooks up front, rear can wait a trip or so.
First aid kit.
Fire extinguisher
Reasonable tyres, RW owners do have a max limit
recovery gear being a snatch strop, followed later if the bug bites, with tree protector, winch, and anything else he can be persuaded to buy.

all the above is not needed for the first trip or so, hell, he may not like us or 4wdriving!!!

ohhh a sense of humour, one that he can pass on to you humourless bastards. This is probably the MOST important thing a 4wd needs.

Press the QUOTE at the bottom right of THIS window to see how that bit works.

a tree trunk protector is a short wide strap with a loop at each end. long enuff to go around a largish tree to protect it from cutting by a wire rope or other thin rope.
You will also need also AT LEAST one large "rated" shackle and when funds permit, a snatch block.
A good soft pair of gloves.

about that anti-Jerry stick.

A nice peice of Hawthorn with spikes would be choice, failing that, 1.4M of alkathene pipe works a treat on dogs AND jerry.
