Anyone changed the reverse light sender on a gq ??on top of the gearbox and looks like a mongrel to get out ??any tips??

Yep, it's a mission to get out (at least ours was).
I borrowed a crows-foot wrench from a friend, only after trying a whole lot of other ways without any success. They look like this...

I used the crows-foot with a ratchet across the top of the gearbox and a bit of pipe to push up on the end of the ratchet from the other side of the gearbox (PTO was in the way, so no room get an arm up there).
Edit: I think the size we used was 15/16" from memory, although not entirely sure?

Cheers mate havnt got a pto so might be bit easier ,,,haha really looking forward to it ,,,,might be waiting till engine change which is coming up.....

Its a prick of a job, definately one to pay someone else to do! Cut down and bent spanner certainly helps, as does having a body-lift. You will be losing some skin from your knuckles though!
