3 inch exhaust change
Hey I've got a turbo TD42 and when I bought the kit was told the 2.5inch exhaust would not restrict it at all so hooked into that but run only a single straight through muffler. Now I've heard 3 inch will deffinately free up some power? Anyone done this and felt any change? I run 1/2 a turn up on the fuel screw and about 13lb boost at present and intercooling shortly. Basically drive to my EGT's till I get the intercooler on.

Just had a turbo fitted 11lb of boost and three inch heaps better truck and no muffler

Drone much with no muffler? I'm not into pretty shiny passive trucks but droning does get irritating on a trip. Whats it like?

have drivin from blenheim to hastings, hastings to auckland and back about 4 trips off road one in woodhill forest and its not loud at all even my wof man said it pesses no prob

Going to fit turbo soon, currently running 2 1/2" exhaust with single free flow muffler, the next step would be removing muffler if required before going to 3" but will only running 8psi boost max and 2 1/2" exhaust is the size with this kit so I should be right.

got a mate here that only runs 6lb and he just put three inch on said much better truck but still has a muffler
