hey everyone. i've been looking at getting a landcruiser for a while.. and now that my car got written off im starting to actually look at buying one. Anyway i want to pick the brains of some toyota enthusiests:
I'm really keen on buying a 70series Short wheel base model
question is: do i go for a diesel or the petrol version?
i been keen to get the 3.4 turbo diesel model in manual.
Also how does the 4 ltr petrol go in the 70 series swb?
talking with my old man who had a 3.4 turbo he said it was great to drive and made the non turbo 3.4 look like a slug.
so what are ur guys thoughts?
Any help/ suggestions would be great

I would personally go with the 13bt diesel model which is the 3.4 turbo the petrol ones go good but very thirsty and the diesels are pretty reliable.
Toyota Landcruiser FJ40, front and rear lockers, 35" simex.
Toyota FJ45 build in progress.
Tires are like boobs, they always look big until you have played with them for a while, then you just want a bigger set.
