Re: Brake line lock
couple of trials guys use some sort of valve for a handbrake
put foot on brake and turn valve to block line, fluid stays in line keeps brakes locked, release valve brakes unlock
simple as, but highly illegal for street vehicles as you probably know anyways
one thing I do know is they tried cheap valves and they didnt last, ended up with $150 jobbies from enzed or someone similar

was just thinking about this an hour ago. not impressed with the $150 bit tho. Does that incluede the full lever and pipe fittings
Re: Brake line lock
do you one that works or a cheap one that may work?? cant have both you choise....
Its possible to make one out of a rear bias valve eg surf /hi lux but by the time you have mucked around its cheaper and faster to buy one made for the job

Re: Brake line lock

i'm using this...
put it in line on way to rear brakes..
hold foot on brake and press to activate liquid lock, just press foot brake pedal to unlock..
p.s.. the 2 holes ya see are the mounting holes.. the brake lines are on the sides inline with the labelling..

Re: Brake line lock
Oooh like that electric one as dont even have to bring pipes inside cab. then again it is a hand brake so maybe keep it simple would be better. Have a disk break conversion on a lux with no hand brake as yet so think this is the go
