anyone got a blown escudo gear box lying round ?

strange question i know but i figure this is the only way ill find the part im after, its the "clutch cable bracket" its basically the part that connects clutch cable to gearbox spline thing, mine broke, and now i cant go nowhere, any one know where one might be? ive asked a few wreckers and they all seem to sell them on the gearboxs hence why i cant find one.

I think I may have one available as I have a spare gearbox waiting for me to pick it up.

im in auckland, but am more then willing to pay for the bracket, and postage, as i am without wheels till i find one, which is proving difficult,

Hey man sorry it's taken so long to get back to you, bloody net's been down and haven't been able to get a message to you

It is a straight rod with the lever on the end of it (for the clutch cable) and off the rod comes two 'fingers' which control the movement of the thrust bearing... sound like the right part?

Brad230: Ummm i'm not too sure sorry mate, mine is a 1992 with a G16A 16valve in it so i would think it would fit... but the box isn't in the healthiest condition lol
