Not sure if Chinese are all the same, but on mine the red goes to the one near the motor cap, yellow to the top one and black to lower one.

the winch has been sitting for about 6 month, now one solenoid is sticking open, and the other is clicking. does anyone know if they are able to be pulled apart and cleaned? ... and how?

I have pulled solinoids with that type of crimped housing appart by machining the crimp off in a lathe. Maybe a hacksaw cut around peak off crimp would do same thing. But... you have to tack weld it back together. I think Christchurch Auto Electrics have them. Not to expensive from memory.
