-28 is the most common offset for aftermarket steel 16 x 8 rims.
15 x 8 steel rims for Safari/Patrol are normally about -19 to -24 offset.
Factory alloys are 0 or -5 offset I think.
There are a few guys running 16 x 8, monstr's rims are -28 I think.

I ran -21 16x8 with 35x10.5 Silverstones and they were fine. For moet of it's life I ran -14 15x8 with 35x11.5 Simex. Both combinations had the outside of the tyre in the same place with the inside being different (which was the goal).

When the 16x8 arrived (ROH) they had stickers on them saying 'not recomended for Nissan Patrol). The recomended offset for Patrol (and Safari) is max of -11. But obviously pretty much everyone doing winch comps uses a bigger offset so you make up your mind! (we do bend front diffs and break steering boxes though)
Nissan Terrano coilovers, turboed VH45, Safari axles, and some other stuff.

Hard case,,,,rang about some roh rims today .,,,, they do a negative 13 which is alot better than -28 but they are like 160 bucks each plus fitting ,,,,which for my roadys is up there ,,,,,the -28 on with the coopers is just going to be to far out.
Can anyone do any deals on roh's??

I'v got a set of 5 16 x 8 Speedy Desert Rat black steel spoked wheels with -28 offset shod whod with Kumho MT834 for off road use only for my 1992 GQ LWB petrol EFI. When fitted, they are wider than the factory alloys but do not rub on anything. I understand the 16" and -28 is required to clear the 2 pot disk brakes fitted on the petrol EFIs.

Just bumping this to see if there is any new info?
Currently looking for 16 x 8 aftermarket steel rims myself, only available
in -28 offset. -13mm offset will be available in couple of weeks though.
