Which radiator

Post by antsarooney »

Hi Guys have just swapped my old 2.4 diesel engine for a 3.9 fuel injected rover v8, was wondering if any one could tell me a good radiator to use as my old one is nowhere near going in. Its a ln65 hilux to by the way.

as in your old one wont fit? I was running the original diesel radiator with the chevy 350 and that did plenty of cooling. mine was an ln65 too. Are rover engines super long or something?

Long snout on the rover V8 from memory. You can make the radiator fit by cutting it into the front clip, but in short you will probably have some more fab work to do to get a decent rad (or even the std one) in there
Ugly is a state of mind..... and the state of my truck!

Your exactly right rokhound it is the snout that is stopping it she's pretty close but just won't work if i could find the same radiator that was a bit narrower we would be sweet. :D

mount it on the back. Pull the mechanical pump. Put a leccy pump in and your away.
