Note to self:

Ask Haynzy WHY he took the Zook through the Vic Tunnel, did he think that that was the way around the Basin to the Motorway?

no probs dude anytime , bit of a bumpy ( and a bit slow according to some ) ride though

had such a great day forgot after a year ( Due to lack of funds ) of swearing and cursing rebuilding my engine just how much of a great bunch of guys ( and gals ) you all are ...

few minor issues with tires popping off the bead but all in all a great day im still humming !

need to say a huge thanks to some people
firstly of course ALL the people that were involved in organizing the event

skid ( or stig as i was calling him all day for some reason ) for leading the " shiney " group

Bolo for lending me the prs for the day without which i wouldn't have been able to listen to the gob load of praverbial (sp) brown stuff flowing all day :) ( suzuki1k has this to hand back to you )

Suzuki1k for helping me get my tire back on the bead at lunch time

downunderxj for lending me the use of his air compressor oh about 6 or 7 times .....

Sadam for the use of his onboard air the 8th time

and whomever it was that grabbed that dudes motorcross bike and offered to take it out for him big thumbs up for that above and beyond effort .. again just proving what a great bunch of people we are

cant wait till next time

Great weekend  Had good day on saturday with only one small issue with the wiring for my lockers :( Today didnt start to well as I followed Taz to Allice way and proceded to bend another rear trailing arm and shock :x But a big big big thanks to Sig whom took me to his house and built me a new trailing arm so I was back in business just with no up or down motion in the rear shocks ( was like being in a zuki  ) packed up at 3pm only to have Jerry come and ask me if I would help recover a 40 which had blown rear diff and no front drive  and thats when the fun started  finally got out of Rallywoods at 830pm leaving Beer Cruiser with Jerry as co poilot Reece with his missus a Pajero a working 40 and a dead 40 behind as while in the process of draging a dead 40 through the bush I managed to kill my altinator, rupture the tank on the raditor pop yet another tyre off its bead ( spear was already off its bead ) Beer cruiser and Jerry went and got a compressor to get it back on the bead so I could go home and I just managed to get the truck to the workshop with a little help from Black Death in his Prado to get over the Haywoods  Now for the big rebuild / fix

Cheers for all who attended and for Reece for organising the Aka's trip on Sat (which was a Kiwi4x4 trip) seemed to be a lot of broken trucks, and the simple afternoon recovery turned out to be a late nite rescue

Will put some pics up soon...
